Demolition Foreman Job Summary
The Demolition Foreman is the on-site leader responsible for directing daily demolition operations, managing crew performance, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. This role bridges field execution and leadership—owning jobsite planning, coordination, quality control, and accountability.

The Foreman is expected to lead by example, enforce safety and productivity standards, communicate clearly with management and clients, and deliver projects on time and on budget.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise all on-site demolition activities.
  • Plan daily work, assign tasks, and coordinate crew efforts.
  • Read and interpret plans, scopes, and project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
  • Conduct safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and daily tailgates.
  • Coordinate equipment, tools, and materials needed for each phase of work.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and progress against schedule.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate Wrecking Crew Team Leads and Members.
  • Communicate jobsite progress, issues, and needs to Project Manager or Superintendent.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
  • Handle field problem-solving and adjust plans as conditions change.
  • Uphold company standards for workmanship, conduct, and customer interaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in demolition or construction leadership.
  • Strong understanding of demolition methods, sequencing, and safety.
  • Ability to lead crews, set expectations, and hold accountability.
  • Solid communication skills—both upward and with field crews.
  • Ability to read plans and scopes and translate them into action.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.

Education & Training:
  • Foreman or lead experience in demolition or heavy construction.
  • Experience coordinating equipment and subcontractors.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 (or ability to obtain).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs such as MS Word and Excel, and the ability to learn and adapt to the software used by the company.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Construction experience.

Pay & Benefits:
  • $35.00-$40.00/hr. DOE
